Learn to Fish with Mike Berntsen. Whether you are a new to fishing or an experienced angler, Mike will help improve your skills, give you handy hints and tips to increase your catch rate and enjoy your fishing more.
Mike has been fishing since the age of seven, joining Andover Angling Club as a junior committee member at thirteen, and began to fish their matches.
Through the years, Mike has fished for Team Andover AC, Team Grolsh, Team Milo, Keenets Southwest and now fishes for Garbolino Blackmore Vale, fishing matches all over the country to a very high standard. Mike’s highlight of 2012 was winning a Division One National section winners medal for his team.
Whether you are a ‘new to fishing angler’, a would-be match angler or someone who wishes to brush up on a particular method of coarse fishing, a tuition session could be just right for you.
One-to-one sessions can be tailored to suit your requirements, all abilities of anglers are welcome. Choose from the list below to suit your needs:
- Basic watercraft and target areas
- Rigs, including floats, line and hook choice
- Pole fishing in the margins, islands or open water
- Float, feeder or method fishing
- Baits and what to use for the time of year
- Your choice of venue – lake, canal or river
